The Marlin is a 'work in progress'.
But this is a photographic step by step,
so you can see how the layers of a painting are created...
First step is a rough sketch of the fish.
Next: Basic colour blocking of the background.
Here you see another layer of colour to the sea.
The sky and clouds also have layers of colour added.
